Never Become a Victim - Happy 81st Birthday Late Loving Mum

Happy 81st Birthday Mum, You Empowered me with those words of wisdom

 Never Become a Victim

I take personal responsibility - i own my choices, my happiness and my reactions to difficult events, situations in life

I change my language - i change my thinking and phrases from - i have to....to...I Choose to

I always practise gratitude - akways grateful, actively appreciate

I always focus on my future - i build a clear 12 month vision - no living in the past, live in the now

Mum am so greatful you empowered me age 18 back in 1985 about Capacity Building in Life, how i could build on my skills and knowledge. You encouraged me to apply for a radio cadetship in community radio who were attached to the National Film, Television and Radio School of Australia ( NFTRS ) in Sydney.

I secured my 3 year cadetship in community radio for 3 years and sent off my radio stories to be marked by the radio school. After 3 years from 1987 - 1989 i was a qualified radio producer with rhe NFTRS receiving a certicate.

Mum, you then encouraged me to leave the western desert and move to the city of Perth to gain more capacity building skills with radio workshops with famous award winning radio producer, Bill Bunbury from ABC radio. Over 3 years from 1990 - 1993 i attended many radio workshops with Bill Bunbury then produced award winning radio documentaries.

After working for 6 community radio stations in Perth, i became a senior radio producer for 1 community radio station for 4 years from 1995 - 1998 - and had a radio talkback show from 4pm - 6pm with over one hundred thousand listners, 2nd highest ratings radio show in Perth for 2 years 1997 - 1998

After Receiving Human Rights Awards of Australia for various radio documentaries ftom 1990 - 1997 i decided to move back home to the western desert age 32 in 1999

In 1999 i was commissioned to produce a radio documentary on land issues, which received a Walkley Award, for a radio station

I was then approached by a technology and scientists organisation in 2000 age 33 to set up a national radio show. I produced 5 pilot shows of 20 minutes each, and then secured a national radio show for over 300 radio stations syndidicated through 7 radio networks.

This national show went for 10 years from 2001 - 2010 receiving national media awards, but after 10 years, Mum became ill back in 2010 - i asked for a year off to care for Mum, but was denied leave.

I then made the decision to leave my national radio show to care for Mum, told them My MUM comes 1st. It was a no brainer for me, best thing i ever done was care for Mum for 5 years from 2011 - 2015, as for 2 years Mum encouraged my dreams, we both planned my website Koala Audiobooks.

I set major goals with Mum to produce 50 audiobooks in 5 years from 2015 - 2020 but covid got in the way thus 35 stories produced by 2020

But in 2020 covid year, i also built my website Koala Audiobooks with 35 stories,

Now 6 years on in 2026 i now have 12 countries downloading Koala Audiobooks,

Thus thanks to Late Loving Mum I'm living my dreams, i also have over 100 new sfories to edit with 20 stories in full productulion

My attitude towards my own capacity building of editing radio documentaries & re-inventing my life with audiobooks has been key to enjoyjng life, as i let go of radio in Australia and Believed in my Dreams of producing Koala Audiobooks, as Willpower played it's role.

Nothing comes easy, only passion and hard work pays off, as from 2015 - 2016 for 2 years i produced 5 audiobooks in 2 years in a caravan in the desert.

Then produced 8 Koala Audiobooks in 2017 in an underground house in Coober Pedy. I now had 13 stories produced.

Then i set a major goal in 2018 that i had ro produce 22 stories in 2 years, thus 11 produced in 2018 then 11 produced in 2019. I now had 35 stories - covid lockdown in 2020 made me chase my dreams harder as in Janhary 2021 i launched Koala Audiobooks

Now the World Downloads Koala Audiobooks
