Forests and Koalas - Bettongs are endangered eating truffles on forest floor all part of tree roots biodiversity
Bettongs eat truffles helps tree roots of forests

Bettongs are like Kangaroos but much smaller, they are one of Australia's most beautiful mammals
Bettongs in all forests on the east coast of Australia maybe extinct just like Koalas within the next 50 years, given that Native forests are destroyed at night by illegal loggers
Bettongs eat truffles on the forest floor which are all part of essential nutrients for the roots of trees, there is a special natural biodiversity link between Bettongs eating the truffles or mushrooms on the forest floor, the large roots of trees are dependent on the bettongs eating these truffles

Koala Flash 2025 - 10 Years Memories Since 2015 - Driving Through Gunbarrel Highway Visiting Outstations
Gunbarrel Highway is Dangerous

Koala Flash 2025 Memories of building and creating our Koala Audiobooks website over 6 years from 2015 - 2020
We drove up and down the very dangerous Gunbarrel Highway which cuts through the Western Deserts of Australia
We visited remote communities who live in what's known as Outstations - Outstations are very small remote communities of up to 10 people or less with a transient population as families travel through - some outstations have no phones - we will give a longer blog on outstations soon
But driving through the Gunbarrel Highway visiting remote outstations was a great experience meeting unique Australians who survive in harsh desert conditions
We Honour Late Jennifer Searcy - Deaths in Custody Part 2
We Honour Late Jennifer Searcy

We Honour the Late Jennifer Searcy - a True Friend from early 1990's who helped us understand the Royal Commission into Deaths in Custody
During 2025 We Honour Certain People Who Have Been Part of Our Journey Producing Stories about Australia
In 1993 we met Jennifer Searcy, in regards to producing a radio documentary on deaths in custody, the royal commission had just been completed where we even sat in a court room in Perth in 1992 and heard how the Late John Pat was murdered by 5 Police in Roebourne, Western Australia, a 16 year old teenager had his head kicked in, questions asked in royal commission why did they have blood all over their boots ?
Without Jennifer Searcy, Deaths in Custody Part 2 would not have been produced, she flew with us to Brisbane and Sydney to interview families who had lost loved ones in prison
As we always say - it's Best to Play this Audio Sample for this Story BUT be warned, it's very emotional as families speak up about losing loved ones
Thanks Jennifer Searcy You Will Always Be in Our Hearts for helping to expose the truth about Deaths in Custody in Australia
Lawn Hill and Riversleigh Pastoral Company - Youth Mentor Program - NEW Video Now on Facebook
Lawn Hill Youth Mentor Program

We spoke to a special man from Lawn Hill and Riversleigh Cattle Station from the Gulf of Queensland about the Billabong Youth Mentor Program
This is a very unique youth mentor program that helps youth who have come from the criminal justice system, who have anger issues, and no respect for anyone but this course
makes youth understand that once we lose respect for women then we have lost everything, the mentor speaks bluntly with honesty that women are the carers and they nurture us when we grow up
we will upload a video on this on Facebook soon, his comments about a strong youth mentor program in Lawn Hill and Riversleigh in remote far north Queensland in the Gulf region
NEW Video on Facebook NOW - it took us 3 hours to produce a short video but it was worth it as you hear the mentor talk about mentoring youth - listen carefully as great info empowers You
