Koala Audiobooks Finally Got Back Over 100 Interviews from 20 Years Ago

January 15, 2025 • 100 Interviews back from 20 years ago

Sometimes you gotta fight for what's is rightfully ours in life, last year we approached National Archives in Canberra for our 100 radio interviews we did last 20 years or so - they asked us for payment of $300 for all stories

We were offended and rang them back last year and said there is no way we are paying $300 for our own stories - we stated that they approached us back in 2003 and asked if we could send them our interviews across Australia so we did for 10 years over 100 interviews and we want them back for FREE as we took our time and sent them our own stories from the goodness of our hearts thus they should be respectful and give them back thus we are now going through over 100 interviews from 20 years ago,

most interviews are already edited thus it will be quicker to produce our stories & upload thus by June this year we will have over 20 new stories uploaded BUT were flat out producing 2 others stories to secure partnerships in coming months with our new gift cards in the shape of a Koala - Happy Days

Interesting stories looking forward to purchasing again

Truths must be told

As an elder myself, i found this to be very emotional, hearing family's speak up about the royal commission into deaths in custody, be prepared to be moved and heart broken, and ashamed of what our country is turning in to. I recommend this story to anyone that wants or needs to hear about what goes on behind closed doors. It's important that the truth be told, and people have the opportunity to listen & learn. To change the future, we must look at the errors of the past.

Strength, hope, resilience.

just hearing this elder, talk about living life in the old days and surviving a crocodile attack was amazing, it's how he survived by adapting to new ways of life that i found inspiring, he has a beautiful soul and a positive attitude to life. He is an inspiration.
These stories from koala audiobooks have been eye opening in to things we would otherwise never hear the stories to.

Highly recommended

I have been a regular customer for a year and have bought over 20 stories - i found this story took me on a journey across Australia hearing people in the Kimberley across to Cape York.
Listening to this audiobook, it was able to paint a visual of the words I was listening to, and feel as though I had been along side them on their journey.

Great Aussie Stories

i am the lady who bought $90 worth of stories from Sydney back in 2022, i am proud i still hold the record for most stories bought in one night, all their short stories are just brilliant, every story i enjoyed and i can't wait for new stories in 2025 but i will be downloading more stories soon, well done Koala Audiobooks for breaking through to the other side giving me pure enjoyment - Camels in Australia -- loved every word she said about growing up on the camel trains of 50 camels delivering supplies to cattle stations
