30 Years Ago This Year 1993 We Travelled Across Australia with the Late Jennifer Searcy Interviewing Family's About Losing Loved Ones in Police & Prison Custody 

In the late 1980's Her Late Son Died in Custody Chained to a Hospital Bed - She Promised Her Son She Would Act On The Deaths In Custody Royal Commissions Recommendations - over 300

We know 30 years on in 2023 deaths in Custody is high with over 400 deaths last 20 years because state governments didn't implement over 300 recommendations - only 30 or do we're acted upon 

State Govnts like Victoria are now starting to implement recommendations with more Deaths in Custody last few years

We Dearly Thank the Late Jennifer Searcy Helping Us Secure Interviews in Sydney & Brisbane & other Regions of Australia back in 1993

Without Jennifers Guidence in 1993 We Would Not Have Produced This Award Story Receiving 2 National Awards - Human Rights Commrndation from Human Rights Commission of Australia and a Walkey Award Commendation - Highest Journalism Awards in Australia
