We take a look at the Barramundi Fish Farm of the Tiwi Islands, we visited the Tiwi islands recording stories about people's livelihoods, how they created a livelihood that was sustainable & we hear from the staff of the Tiwi islands barramundi farm how they now ship barramundi to Australia and around the world  

Koala Audiobooks is proud to announce that we are now being booked by Universities throughout Australia in all States. We sent off a few emails few days ago and today we had 3 Universities wanting to book us for presentations to students in Media - Indigenous Australia - History - Communications 

We are booking presentations with many Universities for our presentations' to pass on information to new students & be paid for 1 hour or 2 hour presentation's

By end of February, we will be booked into over 20 Universities thus we pump more money into Koala Audiobooks to keep up production of over 100 stories we have in production

Koala Flash Insights 2025 - Over 30 Years ago we had the Honour of meeting the Late Great Prime Minister Gough Whitlam. We were attending the Human Rights Awards of Australia in Sydney in the 1990's for the Best Media Report in Australia 

We received the Best Media Report in Australia at the Human Rights Awards with the Family we produced our story about. The Family went through incredible hardship in life but realised adversity makes us stronger thus they wanted to tell their story about surviving hardships during life 

After the awards Ceremony we had the Late Great Prime Minister come up to us and chat about our story and encouraged us to keep producing Australian stories. He was a very smart & funny man and we knew my Mum's Hero was Gough Whitlam.

So chatting with Gough i came out with the words - " Gough you know my Mum loves you from all the work you did in the 1970's as Prime Minister so she would love to talk to you so can we surprise her "

Within 10 minutes we were in a private room with Gough Whitlam and we rang Mum - told her i have a special person for you to talk to Mum - i handed Gough the Phone and let them chat for good 10 minutes -- Moments in Life We Can All Do Special Things for Family

After the awards ceremony rang Mum back and was best feeling in the world that i could arrange her to chat with Gough Whitlam my Mums HERO
